Hello loves! This look was most definitely inspired by the fact that I am always joking that I am medusa because of my absolutely untamable hair. I decided to actually become her and heres how it turned out!
products used:
make up for ever step one primer – smoothing
make up for ever hd stick foundation – Y225
urban decay naked skin concealer – fair
coty airspun loose powder – translucent
morphe eyeshadow palette – 35N
lorac mega pro 2 palette
mac eyeshadow – humid
anastasia beverly hills eyeshadow – star cobalt
mac gigiblack mascara
anastasia beverly hills dipbrow pomade – taupe
bobbi brown gel definer liner – pitch black
ardell lashes – 203
duo brush on lash glue
maybelline color sensational vivids – shocking coral
headband
fake snakes
step 1: prime – I primed my skin for a smooth even base with MUF smoothing primer.
step 2: foundation – I used MUF stick foundation for a full coverage even face.
step 3: concealer – I concealed my under eyes, eyelids, chin, cupids bow, bridge of nose, and center of forehead with UD naked concealer.
step 4: powder – I set my whole face with coty airspun powder to ensure it was matte and lasted all day.
step 5: contour – I mixed three shades from the morphe 35n, mac humid, abh star cobalt and lorac forest to create the shadowing around my cheeks, nose and hairline.
step 6: eyeshadow – I blended humid all over my lids and under my eyes. I packed forest all over my lids to make it darker and more green and took that underneath the lash line as well.
step 7: liner – I lined my waterline with bobbi brown pitch black liner.
step 8: mascara – mac gigiblack mascara is my go to for darkening my lashes before falsies because it still looks natural enough to blend with lashes.
step 9: false lashes – I used ardell 203 lashes. I like the duo brush on lash glue because it is so easy to apply it evenly on the lash band without a mess. I let it dry for about 30 seconds before actually putting them on my eyes so that they are tacky enough. I press them against my real lashes with tweezers so that you can’t see a distinction line.
step 10: lips – I wanted my lips to looks as though I had just been bitten. I tapped maybelline shocking coral on the lips and blended it with my finger to lighten it.
step 11: snakes – I used an old thin elastic headband and superglued snakes to it to create a snake crown.
here’s the completed look again:
