halloween tutorial: werewolf

Hello loves! This may be one of my easier to throw together costume looks for all you last minute halloweeners out there. This look is super simple but makes it looks like you put in effort.

products used:

laura mercies foundation primer – protect

milani conceal and perfect foundation – 02 natural

elmers glue stick

sephora gel serum concealer – 01 bavarian cream

smashbox contour sticks – contour

morphe eyeshadow palette – 35N

make up for ever flash palette

anastasia beverly hills waterproof creme color – jet

mac gigiblack mascara

ardell lashes – 202

duo brush on lash glue

colourpop ultra matte lip – kapow

step 1: prime – I primed my skin so that my foundation would last all day using laura mercier foundation primer.

step 2: foundation – I wanted a more warm toned foundation so I used milani conceal and perfect.

step 3: elmers glue – I smoothed  elmers glue over the outer 1/2 of my brows and applied foundation over it so that I could redraw my brows.

step 4: concealer – I concealed my under eyes, eyelids, chin, cupids bow, bridge of nose, and center of forehead with sephora concealer.

step 5: contour – I wanted a really strong contour so I cream contoured with the smashbox contour stick in the hollows of my cheeks.

step 6: shadow – I created a really elongated cat eye by first blending 3 from the morphe 35n in the crease and used it to blend out that triangular shape. I then filled in the whole area with 2 and 4 and blended that out a ton until it was super messy. I smudged 5 over my upper and lower lash line.

step 7: liner – I used abh jet to line my eyes and follow the cat eye I created with shadow. I followed it along my lower lash line as well and curved it near the inner corners. I smudged our the liner with 5 from the morphe 35n to really blend it out.

step 8: brows – I filled in my brows using 1 from the morphe 35n. I made the shape a lot straighter than my natural brow. I feathered it really high to make it look like fur.

step 9: mascara – mac gigiblack mascara is my go to for darkening my lashes before falsies because it still looks natural enough to blend with lashes.

step 10: false lashes – I used ardell 202 lashes. I like the duo brush on lash glue because it is so easy to apply it evenly on the lash band without a mess. I let it dry for  about 30 seconds before actually putting them on my eyes so that they are tacky enough. I press them against my real lashes with tweezers so that you can’t see a distinction line.

step 11: ‘fur’ – I used a really thin angular brush and the brown and black from the MUF flash palette and followed my hairline making really thin strokes. I created a really deep willow peak.

step 12: lips – I overdrew and filled in my lips with colourpop kapow liquid lip.

here’s the completed look again
