Hey loves! For todays look I’m bringing you probably the easiest to achieve. I was inspired by Rapunzel from Tangled. Its a super simple soft makeup look with a braid that anyone can do!
products used:
nivea mens shave balm
cle de peau concealer – ivory
loreal pro glow foundation – 202
urban decay naked skin concealer – fair
anastasia beverly hills contour powder – banana
mac pro shaping powder – emphasize
anastasia beverly hills dip brow pomade – taupe
bobbi brown eyeshadow – taupe
anastasia beverly hills clear brow gel
mac eyeshadow – soft brown
colourpop gel liner – call me
mac gigiblack mascara – black
ardell soft touch lashes – 150
duo brush on lash glue
mac pro longwear blush – rosy outlook
becca x jaclyn hill champagne pop palette – pamplemouse & rose spritz
colourpop lippie stix – button
flowers from michaels
step 1: prime – I applied nivea mens shave balm to smooth my skin and prolong my foundation wear
step 2: foundation – I applied cle de peau concealer underneath my foundation to conceal my blemishes and discoloration before I put a natural layer of loreal pro glow foundation
step 3: conceal – I used naked skin concealer to cover my dark circles, prime my eyelids and highlight the center of my face.
step 4: powder – I set my concealer with ABH banana powder and mac pro emphasize powder.
step 5: blush – The most prominent feature of Rapunzel is her super rosy cheeks. I used a combination of rosy outlook, pamplemousse, and rose spritz on the apples of my cheeks and didn’t really blend it outside that area.
step 6: brows – I filled in my brows with ABH dipbrow in taupe and made them a little warmer like hers are in Tangled by feathering bobbi brown taupe shadow on top and setting it all with ABH clear brow gel.
step 7: shadow – Rapunzel has a super simple shadow look so I applied mac soft brown over the lids to just create a slightly warm lid look.
step 8: liner – She has brown liner in the movie so I used call me by colourpop on my upper and lower lash line.
step 9: mascara – Ill probably be using mac gigiblack for this whole series because of how well it blends with lashes so just be ready for that!
step 10: lashes – I used ardell lashes to create a super natural lash look. In all honesty this step is probably unnecessary for this look.
step 11: lips – Rapunzel has a natural peachy lip so I just used colourpop button for a soft peach look.
step 12: hair – the last thing for this look is just a simple side braid and I used some pink flowers from michaels spread in the braid to recreate her look once she lets the little girls play with her hair.
here’s the final look again:
I am providing pictures of some of the products so that you can find similar products and colors in your own collections! These are just the products I use but you can substitute in anything really and still look fierce. If any of you recreate these looks please tag me in them so I can see all your beautiful faces!! Ill be back tomorrow with another halloween look. Don’t forget to check back!
