Today we take a look at Jaclyn Hill’s new collection with Becca Cosmetics. If you don’t know who Jaclyn Hill is, you need to. She is a beauty blogger on youtube who is an incredibly talented makeup artist and maybe one of the most beautiful humans to grace the planet. Last year she worked with Becca Cosmetics on a highlighter called Champagne Pop. This week she released a whole collection based on the original highlighter she created with Becca. They combined to create a face palette, eye palette, and champagne pop in a liquid and cream form.
I picked up the Jaclyn X Becca Champagne Glow Palette. The palette includes three blushes and two highlighters. There is a shimmer blush, matte blush, and satin blush. Her original creation Champagne Pop and a new Prosecco Pop highlighter are included as well.
If you’ve never tried Becca highlighters than you are truly missing out. They are probably the smoothest, creamiest powders that were ever made. They give the perfect glow to the face that you can continue to layer until your highlight is bright enough to stop traffic.
I already owned champagne pop individually and love it. I think champagne is an interesting name for it because it is quite golden and Becca’s opal highlight is much more champagne. Prosecco pop is even more gold and a little darker so even though champagne pop is nearly universal there is another option for those with a darker skin tone. Mixing them together creates an absolutely beautiful glow.
I was in love with the blush shades before I even saw them in person. There is a shade for everyone. They are just as creamy as the highlighters and blend out like a dream. When I first tried rose spritz, the had too much on my brush and it applied a bright circle on my cheek but when I swept my brush back over it, it blended to perfection.
I absolutely love Becca face products and this palette is an incredible hit. The palette will be available in stores June 16th. I would keep your eyes on Sephora’s website for restock updates. I have a little suspicion that this palette won’t be limited edition for long but if you have the chance to pick this up don’t miss out!!
As always please recommend any other products you would like to see me test out! Don’t forget to subscribe to my blog on the right hand side of the page, so you receive updates when I post. Thanks for all the love & support. Talk to you next monday, loves.
love & lipstick kisses💋
